In our Agriculture for Everybody  blog series, we are going to see Organic Bordo Mix Paste which is an organic pest repellent. Required Ingredients S.No. Ingredient Name Qty in Litres/Grams/Kgs 1 Fresh Cow Dung 20 Kgs 2 Cow's Urine 10 Litres 3 Neem Oil 100 ml 4 Asafoetida Powder 100 gms Method of Preparation Place the Cow Dung & Cow Urine in a vessel and mix them well. Pour the Neem Oil into the vessel slowly and stir the contents of the vessel until the Neem Oil is mixed well. Add the Asafoetida Powder and mix it well. The Organic Bordo Mix Paste is ready to use. Note: Please note that the stick (neem stick is better or any pole) used for mixing the ingredients should be cleaned before & after the usage so as to avoid maggots formations in the pesticide. Required Ingredients S.No. Ingredient Name Qty in Litres/Kgs/Nos 1 Cows Urine 10 Litres 2 Neem Leaves 2.5 Kgs 3 Mud Pot 1 No 4 Copper Pot 1 No 5 Water 10 Litres Method of Preparation Take 10 Litres of water in the mud pot. Immerse the Neem Leaves and ensure it is mixed well with the water. Cover the mouth of the mud pot and bury the mud pot in the soil for 21 days. Mix the contents of the mud pot and pour it into the copper pot. Boil the copper pot until the solution reduces to one fourth of the original contents. The final Cows Urine + Neem Solution is ready for use after this.
